AGA270/Studio/02 - 3D Modeling | Credits 3.00
Through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, students will learn the principles of 3D modeling. 3D modeling techniques will include hard surface and organic modeling, box modeling, and digital sculpting. The course will include directory and scene organization, 3D modeling techniques, retopology, UVW texture mapping, texture baking, lighting, and render setup. Course objectives: -design and create 3D models for both games and animation -Successfully navigate the 3D modeling pipeline -Create both photorealistic and styled textures, surfaces, and lighting -utilize 3D troubleshooting techniques.
