Do you want to have a financially successful personal and business life? Many businesses and people go bankrupt or lose everything to the government because they do not have the knowledge of good recordkeeping and accounting principles. This course will teach you how to maintain good accounting records for business and personal. This course will teach you how to record the daily transactions of a business using the rules of debit and credit and convert this data into useful financial statements. You will learn how to record journal entries, post, use special journals and subsidiary ledgers, prepare adjusting entries related to accruals and deferrals, prepare closing entries, establish basic internal controls, and prepare financial statements that can be used to get loans and to make good decisions for yourself and any potential business. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies
