|
Credits
3.00
Therapeutic Approaches to Art offers a thoughtful exploration of how artmaking can support personal expression, mental well-being, and healing. The course invites students to explore art as a way to process and understand their experiences, focusing on the connections between identity, emotions, and life stories. Students will be introduced to various therapeutic art practices and gently consider how vulnerability, personal growth, and emotional expression play a role in the creative process. Through hands-on activities, reflections, and exploring symbolism, students will discover how art can both hold emotions and foster personal growth.
