FA522/Studio/01 - Thesis
|
Credits
6.00
The Fine Arts Thesis course is the culmination of four years of study. Working closely with the faculty and an advisor of their choice, students develop a focused and cohesive body of studio work for the Senior Thesis Exhibition. In addition, students prepare a professional dossier that includes a biography, artist statement, and exhibition proposal. At the end of the semester, each student also presents a public artist talk and submits a written script of the talk as part of their dossier. Attendance and participation in the end-of-semester Fine Arts Final Critiques is mandatory. Based on the scope of a student’s project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials or supplies.
