This course provides students with a hands-on introduction to Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, an interior design industry standard used to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Students will gain an understanding of BIM as it relates to construction and real-world construction processes. Using BIM students will build 3D models for design presentation and construction documentation. Short modeling exercises and projects will be completed in the course. Advanced visualization and presentation techniques will also covered in this course. Based on the scope of a student’s project or level of study there may be additional cost for materials and supplies.
