Through continued intensive studio work and critique, students will complete and continue to analyze the body of lens-based work begun in Senior Studio. Students will prepare their project for exhibition in the thesis show. This course focuses on executing work according to professional standards and with a high level of technical proficiency. Students will also write a thesis paper that addresses their influences; the technical, aesthetic, and conceptual, considerations of their projects; and their goals for future activity. Studio time and critiques may be supplemented by any of the following activities: field trips, visiting critics, readings/writings/screening lectures, student presentations, or discussions. Students are required to keep a journal to document their interests and efforts.
