This studio class focuses on game structure and elements. Students will explore various game genres, perspectives, characters, game mechanics, and strategies with a focus on how to utilize a game engine and the basics of C# scripting. This course will also introduce students to the game design pipeline starting with the creation of a Game Document to the final builds of their projects. The class culminates with students creating their first games. Course objectives: -Apply game design theory and practices to working prototypes -Write and present a game document outline -Read and implement C# script -Understand and effectively utilize Game Engine (Unity) -Create game-ready 2D assets
