Senior Studio emphasizes independent exploration through open-ended projects and individualized mentorship. Students are encouraged to make their own discoveries while engaging with a broad range of aesthetic approaches and ideas. Each student is responsible for defining their artistic interests and selecting the methods, media, and processes that best express their vision. Access to individual studio space fosters independence and self-direction. Contemporary and historical contexts across art disciplines are discussed throughout the semester. Attendance and participation in the end-of-semester Fine Arts Final Critiques are mandatory. Based on the scope of a project or level of study, there may be additional costs for materials and supplies.
