2026 Fall Main Session
FD441/Studio/01 - Senior Thesis I
|
Credits
3.00
This is the first of two semester sequenced capstone courses in which students identify customer profiles, research major areas of their specialization and inspiration, as well as the writing thesis. After designing a collection appropriate for a chosen market, a student creates the flat patterns, draping and muslins for the creation of the final garment in the second part of the Senior Collection. Students will develop portfolio-ready technical sketches, illustrations, flats, color storyboards, and fabric swatches. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study, there may be additional costs for materials and supplies.
