Credits
3.00
Through intensive studio work and critique, students in this course will propose, develop, and analyze a mature body of lens-based work that will be completed in the thesis class and presented at the senior show. Students will begin to investigate personal research interests, conduct studio experiments, and synthesize established photographic precedents. Students will secure two thesis advisers, one from the faculty, the other from the Philadelphia arts community. Studio time and critiques may be supplemented by any of the following activities: field trips, visiting critics, readings/writings/screening lectures, student presentations, or discussions.
