This course explands upon previous investigations in woodblock. Emphasis will be placed on individual ideas and content in relation to the unique characteristics of the medium. Students will fully explore color, multiple plates, and registration. In addition, students are expected to conduct individualized research and produce a body of related works. Critical texts, presentations, and field trips will supplement class sessions. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies.
