Design projects provide initial experiences with the expression of meaning in the design of interior spaces, the practicalities of programming, space planning, and working with interior details. The students design a residential space for a real client and they work with conceptual issues in designing a small public space. The continued development of hand drawing and model building skills are also given primary focus. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies.
