AH280 - Close Reading: Dali
Close Reading is designed to introduce students to the work of an art historian by in-depth reading and researching of a focused art historical topic. Content for the term will be focused on Salvador Dali. Field trips to local libraries will take place, as well as hands-on inspection and consideration of works of art. Open to all, but priority enrollment for art history majors. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies. Satisfies: Art History Major and Minor requirements and may be taken as a Liberal Arts elective.

Description Close Reading is designed to introduce students to the work of an art historian by in-depth reading and researching of a focused art historical topic; content will change year to year. For Spring 2009 the subject will be Marcel Duchamp. Open to all, but priority enrollment for art history majors.
