CPGR620 - Visiting Artist Studio & Lessons
This two-part course combines a studio critique seminar with a practical studio-based workshop. Part I pairs candidates with an established community based artist in a critique setting that reinforces their own creative practice. Part II contextualizes each candidate's research-based work alongside critical paradigms of distribution, audience, participation, and impact. The relationship between the artist, the public sphere and society will be explored via a collaborative project that will be developed throughout term.
