CPGR650 - Ethical Issues in Community Intervention
In this seminar candidates gather at Moore for a 2-week intensive of intellectual inquiry under the guidance of faculty and guest visitors from local arts organizations, practitioners, and experts in community based projects prior to the practicum. The central topics will be an analysis of social inequality within American society and the global community. Emphasis on the causes, extent and social structures effecting community based art, especially those based on race, gender, social class, gentrification and cultural diversity.
