In this final summer studio course MFA in Community Practice candidates will meet to teach each other and share knowledge and experiences gathered from each of their individual community based projects. Working in individual studio spaces provided by Moore, the notion of studio will be re-envisioned as a hub where different forms of communal knowledge and practice can be shared in order to create an inter-communal, inter-disciplinary, international commons in preparation for the final thesis culmination. Guests working in this emergent field will be part of this dynamic discourse through on-site visits or by way of web-conferencing tools.
