DM107 - Flash Interactive Design
This course introduces Flash interface, still the top tool among web designers for truly robust interactive animation and video, as well as ActionScript, the powerful scripting language within Flash, and Toolkit for Create JS, an extension that outputs HTML5. Projects use Flash as a vector-based drawing tool and integrate sounds, animation and music. Topics include understanding effective design techniques for contemporary users. Students develop an original Flash-based project ready for web deployment and understand the versatility of Flash in creating informative websites and interactive games for web and mobile devices. Prerequisite: Digital Imaging with Photoshop or equivalent experience.
