Sophisticated pairings of type and image form the basis of many graphic design applications. Using editorial design as a tool, students will explore content driven compositions to visually tell a story. Exercises range from semantics to basic page layout using a grid. Critical comparisons of classic and modern typographic form, allow students to choose and combine fonts for engaging applications.
