GD305 - 3D Applications in Graphic Design
To broaden the understanding of graphic design applications, three-dimensional projects such as package design and environmental graphics are investigated. The elements necessary for designing in three dimensions are covered: form, image, function, material, scale and simple engineering. Projects will include both practical and experimental approaches, along with consideration of the ecological impact of packaging in the environment. Based on the scope of a student’s project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies. Satisfies Major Requirement.
