In this blended course, candidates are introduced to the fundamentals of various color theories, both 2- and 3-dimensionally, especially as they apply to interior spaces, materials, and light sources. Exercises and conceptual projects provide candidates with the opportunity to apply color theory. Psychological and cultural influences of color perception will be researched and discussed through readings and written assignments both online and through studio projects.
