IL200 - Digital Painting
An introduction to the concepts and skills needed for digital illustration and their application throughout the publication and entertainment arts industry. In conjunction with Adobe Photoshop, the course introduces Corel Painter, a raster based software application that uses traditional media simulation for creative, digital image making. To supplement lectures and demonstrations, students are expected to complete structured in-class exercises and longer term projects. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies. Satisfies: Major Requirement.
