IL414 - Digital Modeling
In contemporary applied art and design, digital modeling and rendering skill is valued. This course introduces the student to the basic concepts and techniques necessary to constructing in virtual space a digital object. Utilizing Maya, the course exercises and projects generate a foundational understanding of this multi-faceted software application. The formal process of critically evaluating the progress and success of each stage of the assignments is an important course component. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies. Satisfies major requirement.
