SAGR635 - Teaching Assistantship
The candidate will select an undergraduate course from a roster of approved courses and then assist the faculty teaching this course throughout the semester. The candidate must be available and attend all class meetings and final critiques for the undergraduate course. As part of the Graduate Teaching Assistantship, the candidates are required to participate in the Teaching Preparation Seminar. This seminar will cover methodologies and philosophy of teaching, how to build course curricula with clear measurable learning goals, how to prepare syllabi and lesson plans, classroom management, and how to utilize technology as a teaching tool. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies.
