SAGR650 - Art, Life, and Work
This course will cover professional art business practices including CV development, digital portfolios and presentations, grant writing, small business development, contracts, taxes, copyright laws, fellowship and residency resources and applications, procedures, safety and permit issues related to public art. This course also teaches candidates how to: research appropriate funding opportunities, organize written proposals, construct detailed budgets, devise realistic timelines, and curate selections of relevant work samples. Candidates will also learn about the costs and benefits of fiscal sponsorship.
