|
Credits
1.50
This course focuses on architectural drafting as the fundamental tool for visual communication of interior design concepts. Hands-on projects develop an understanding of scale, graphic language and technical drawing skills, including design organization, presentation and layout. Students learn to "read" and draw floor plans, sections and elevations and become familiar with drafting equipment and techniques, such as lettering, orthographic projection, architectural conventions and the meaning of line weights as well as axonometric drawings and perspectives sketches to explore their design ideas. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies.
