Understanding of symbols and their relationship to society are integral to a Graphic Designer's training. This course emphasizes how to conduct research on historic and current symbols and how to explore a varied design vocabulary through experimentation. Symbols are developed based upon processes learned in Graphic Design I. Projects include color theory as related to Graphic Design applications. Based on the scope of a student's project or level of study there may be additional costs for materials and supplies. Satisfies: Major Requirement
