GD203/Studio/01 - Introduction to Graphic Design | Credits 3.00
This course focuses on basic design principles and theory such as form, composition, color, organization, and hierarchy. The relevance to understanding and generating meaningful formal relationships between word and image is stressed. Students are introduced to the concept of a sketch process through experimentation, critical thinking, editing and presentation. This course will develop a basic foundation upon which all further design literacy can be built. Satisfies Major Requirement
