This class provides young artists with the opportunity to develop drawing skills in combination with exploring conceptual sculpture. Students will first build sculptures in wood, clay, wire, paper, plaster and recycled materials through which they increase their understanding of forms in space. Once built, they draw the sculptural forms using a variety of media. The course focuses on heightening two and three-dimensional visual awareness. Projects vary each semester.
