This course develops skills in researching and evaluating how fashion and color forecasts are developed for various target markets and how this information is utilized to plan a product in relation to current trends. Theoretical methods and practical applications are to predict the trends that will positively influence the amount and types of fashion and textiles products consumers will buy. Projects include the development of visual and oral presentations demonstrating forecasting skills in the interpretation of a theme or trend to develop a commercially viable product. No Prerequisites.
